Applications received after the May 18 extended deadline will be considered for the next AmeriQueer iteration, date TBD in August 2026.

APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED - Monday, May 18 at 6:00 PM CDT
- Invitations to the final six couples will go out via email no later than Saturday, May 23, at which point they’ll be invited to fill out the questionnaire that helps us write their ceremony.

What’s this about?

PURPOSE:
- Celebrating the beautiful diversity, deep similarities, and capacity for love in all of us.
- Supporting and contributing to the United States of America’s movement toward equality and acceptance.
- Starting in Austin, TX before eventually launching nationwide.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- June 21, 2026 at ColdTowne Theater in Austin, from 2:00 - 8:00 PM (one couple per hour)
- There’s a non-refundable $15 application fee per couple, at least $5 of which will be donated to the world’s largest LGBTQ+ youth suicide prevention organization, and which will help offset vendor expenses (photography, ceremony music, simple decorations, and snacks & a bar tab for couples and their guests). All applicants will receive a digital copy of the Broadly Entertaining Wedding Planning Activity Book and a printable copy of our custom ceremony-planning questionnaire.
- Each couple may bring up to ten guests.
